ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Rand Dyck is Professor Emeritus of Political
Science at Laurentian University, where he taught Canadian Politics for
over 30 years, winning several teaching awards. He is the author of many
texts of the subject, including Canadian Politics: Critical Approaches,
5th ed., published by Thomson Nelson. Professor Dyck is an adjunct
Professor of Political Science at Carleton University and he teaches
part-time at universities across the country.
